SERVICE ---- TRAINING
St. Paul’s Spiritual Life Commission is
seeking volunteers who might be interested in leading Communion
Services on Thursdays and Fridays at St. Paul until Fr. Steve is
able to resume his regular schedule of weekday Masses. There will be a
training session held on Monday, January 29, at 7:00 p.m.
at the Church for anyone interested in participating in this ministry.
Attendance at this
training session is required and all participants should be Eucharistic
ministers.

GET WELL FR. STEVE…..
Father Steve was in an auto accident on Monday morning January 08th.
He sustained a fractured right ankle, a fractured sternum, a fractured lower
vertebra and lacerations.
UPDATE:
as of Wednesday the 17th
He is now sporting a big cast on the right foot-leg as well as a brace on the
chest. Father is still very uncomfortable [rehab is painful] but he is gaining
ground and in great spirits.
He is presently at

THEOLOGY NIGHT OUT
Join us
at our next Theology Night Out on January 25, 2007. The speaker will be
Sr. Anne Casper. She will do a first person narrative of St. Theodora
Guerin. The pitch-in supper will be from 6-6:45 p.m. and the
presentation will be from 6:45 to 8:00 p.m. Bring a vegetable, salad,
or dessert and table service. Fried chicken, baked ham and drinks will
be provided. Babysitting will also be provided.

During the w
inter months the mommies group will meet the second
Thursday of every month at 10:00 a.m. in the Narthex. Please feel free to bring
your lunch. All care providers are welcome, not just moms.
SCOUT SUNDAY
Sunday, February 4th is Scout Sunday. All
scouts and leaders are invited to participate in the liturgy at 10:30 a.m. Mass
that day. If you are interested in serving in the various ministries for this
Mass please contact Paulette by Monday, January 22nd.
INDY CATHOLIC MEN’S CONFERENCE:
February 17, 2007, St.
Christopher will host from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. The theme is “How and To
Whom Do I Pray?” presented by Fr. Keith Hosey. A hot lunch will be

the DJV Room, St. Joseph University Parish Hall. Anyone who works with children

Grief Support Group - An eight
week grief support for anyone mourning the loss of one they love will begin
Monday, January 29th at 6:30 p.m. at the Terre Haute Deanery Pastoral
